VILLAGES OF EAST LAKE
The Villages of East Lake (VOEL) -The Villages of East Lake offers a wide range of mixed-income living options among its 650 apartment homes, offering 1-4 bedroom apartments, townhomes and duplexes.
- The original four villages of The Villages of East Lake include 542 apartments. 50% of the apartments are leased at market rate and 50% of the units are leased to families who make 30% of Area Median Income (AMI) or below.
- The newest village of The Villages of East Lake, Gardenside, was completed in early 2020. It provides an additional 108 new homes, 70% of which are offered to families who make 60% of Area Median Income (AMI) or below.
TRUST AT EAST LAKE
The East Lake Foundation is partnering with the Atlanta Land Trust to build 40 single family for-sale townhomes of which 100% will be affordable. Construction is underway and is scheduled to be completed in late 2025.
- 50% of the homes will be available to families between 60%-80% of AMI.
- 50% of the homes will be available to families between 80%-120% of AMI.
- Atlanta Land Trust is working closely with the Resident and Community Support Program (RCSP) at the Villages of East Lake to ensure current East Lake residents are prepared to take advantage of these homeownership opportunities in the community .
